Website Prices in North Cyprus: What Decides the Cost?
Website prices in North Cyprus depend on scope, custom design, languages, content, e-commerce and aftercare. Here are the questions to ask when comparing quotes.

"How much does a website cost?" has no single right answer. A one-page site put together over a weekend and a multilingual platform that takes months are both answers to the same question. We don't give figures here, because every project is quoted on its scope. Instead, this article explains what drives the price and how to compare the quotes you receive.
What drives the price
Scope and number of pages
A single landing page and a corporate site with service pages, a project gallery, a blog and a contact section don't take the same work. Every new type of page means design, content layout, development and testing. Roughly listing the pages you need before asking for quotes is the first step to quotes you can compare.
Template or custom design?
Changing the colours and text of a ready-made theme and designing and coding an interface for your brand are different jobs. Custom work involves strategy, information architecture, interface design and development. In return you get a faster site that's yours and can grow.
Number of languages
Each language means its own text, its own review, its own URLs and its own search settings. Many businesses in North Cyprus need Turkish and English; some sectors need a third language. See our multilingual website guide.
Content: text, photos and video
Will you write the text, or does it need writing? Are the photos ready, or is a shoot needed? Will there be a video? Content often takes as long as design and affects the price directly.
E-commerce, bookings and integrations
Online sales, bookings, accounts, payments or connections to stock or accounting software need far more development and testing than a brochure site.
Speed, SEO and accessibility
Pages that open fast on a phone, a site search engines understand, and a site everyone can use don't happen by themselves. Image optimisation, page titles, structured data and accessibility checks take extra work, and they are what make a site findable and usable.
Content management
If you want to update content yourself, the site needs a content management system (CMS). What it lets you edit sets the scope of the build.
Aftercare
Hosting, domain renewal, security updates, backups and content updates continue for the life of the site. Some quotes include them, some don't.
Questions to ask when comparing quotes
The gap between two quotes is usually in the scope, not the number. Ask:
- Whose name will the domain and hosting account be in?
- Will I get all access and files when the site is delivered?
- Is the design custom, or based on a ready-made theme?
- How many rounds of revisions are included?
- Who prepares the text and images?
- Will the site be tested on phones and computers, and will speed be measured?
- Are page titles, a sitemap and a Search Console set-up included?
- Can I update the content myself?
- How are maintenance and support after launch charged?
- How long will it take, and in which stages?
Why a cheap quote can cost more
A low quote can look attractive, but a domain you don't own, a slow site, a broken mobile layout or a rebuild when you grow quickly wipes out the saving. Look not only at today's cost but at how the site will serve you over the next few years.
Getting the most from your budget
- Start with the core pages. Home, services, work and contact; a blog or extra languages can come in a second phase.
- Prepare content early. Ready content shortens the process.
- Set one main goal. When every page has a clear job, unnecessary features fall away.
- Plan for growth. If a second language or online sales is likely, say so in the first conversation.
